Victorian Recorder Guild

The Victorian Recorder Guild is a network of recorder enthusiasts – players, performers and teachers. We encourage the playing and performance of recorder music across Victoria (Australia). If you would like to find a teacher, a fellow player, an opportunity to perform, or a recorder ensemble to perform for you, the Guild can help. Our activities include recorder choir (“Blowins”), concerts, workshops, and residential weekends. Non-members are welcome to attend. We have an extensive library of sheet music, including solos, duets, and poly-choral works. Borrowing from the library is free to members. Members also receive a regular newsletter. For more on the benefits of becoming a member of the Victorian Recorder Guild and how to join, see our membership page

Genevieve Lacey, Australia’s foremost recorder artist, is patron of the VRG.
